Very repetitive and no room to grow, but cool people you meet and a few good friends for life made there. Pay is higher end for work you do. Would recommend someone starting a career there but certainly not finishing.

Management Here is actually terrible
|
If you are desperate for work that is the only thing that is good about this place is that they basically hire anyone. Management is the number 1 problem of this place, they are controlling and get angry at you if you do something that is not how they wanted it done (only 1 good manager there right now in my opinion). The one thing you can expect from managers at this place is always demanding MORE no matter how hard you work they will always demand more of what your job consists of and definitely will not offer you higher pay. Morning and monthly safety meetings are pointless. The yard staff gets yelled at every morning for something so minor its insane. No matter how good of work you did the day before there is ALWAYS something management will complain about in the morning meeting the next day. GM is pretty nice to the office staff but does not like the yard staff at all but does things to try and hide it (buy breakfast sandwiches, lunch very rarely). Best thing about the job is the end of the day when you get to leave. When there are no cars to receive you have to be doing something or you will get yelled at for standing around. The phones that you use to receive cars are pieces of junk, more than half of them have problems (screen cracked, no SIM card, very slow loading). If this place had better management there would not be such a high turnover on this place. I could go on and on about the problems that this place has but Im not trying to write a 5 page essay.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Weekends off. Except during a hurricanes.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No help from management! As a new employee you keep a client on the phone trying to get assistance!
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Loud! Although most employees are assisting clients on the phone, there are tow truck drivers in and out of the office. Talking with dispatch and on their mobile devices!
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8am start by making or taking calls until 5pm. Breaks are one 15 minute in the morning and one 15 in the afternoon. 1 hour lunch break is set for you! May be as early as 10:45 or as late as 1:45pm.
