Fun and flexible environment

Great place to work for a while without too much worry. Easy to schedule different days without trouble. Heavily more tip reliant though as only 2.30 base pay and mostly all of that is taken by tax which might make it a little more difficult than other serving jobs.

General managers are great but floor managers come and go and vary in professionalism and usefulness. Biggest issue here is that the tips are already very small because the food is so cheap (and most food you send is free due to bottomless) and management is unavailable in any situation that could help improve your guests' experiences. Constant pressure to raise the restaurant's satisfaction rate for guests while also allowing managers/Supervisors to hide from staff and be rude/dismissive when we ask for help. Very autonomous job so you can get by on your own, but it is not possible to work without needing a manager because any change to an already ordered item requires manager sign-off. Tips are $8-$30/hour on average.
