Over 5 years and 3 different departments I saw a lot. They used to be a really cool, fun and caring company to work for but that culture hasn’t existed for the past few years. I used to be proud to work for carvana, now it’s just embarrassing.

They do not care about their long term dedicated employees. They are unwilling to invest in the employees they already have and instead put all effort into bringing in new hires who leave right after they are hired and realize they were sold a lie. Pay is insultingly low and raises are almost non existent. They recently changed their insurance to a plan that so obviously only benefits Carvana and left the employees blindsided by the new terrible coverage they were offering. Carvana makes a lot of promises around growth and compensation however when it’s time for those conversations leadership says their hands are tied and budget won’t allow. They are constantly rolling out new “employee appreciation” incentives just to shut them down shortly after siting “budget cuts”. Bottom line is they have lost the trust of all their tenures employees and don’t care about them or the work they do (outside of executives)
