I have worked for this company for almost a decade. There were always some negatives, primarily the pay, but there were enough positives to make it a fun and enjoyable place to work. Changes in policies, understaffed stores, and horrible pay have turned it into a miserable place to work. I have worked alone while opening and closing the store for about 3 months straight. Various new policies, both for customers and staff, have burnt me out. I had a very good store leader. Working with other gamers and getting to talk with people about all things gaming and anime was definitely a great workplace experience. There’s not much that is complicated about the job hardest thing would be planogram. My biggest issue with the company overall was the pay, It is not very good and there is little opportunity to move up or for raises. There is only benefit packages for full time positions which are only assistant store leader and above which the location I was at only had 1 ASL and 1 Store Lead. I know of many other companies that offer far better pay and opportunities to employees. I can’t see many people other than someone in high school or college finding this company worth long time employment.
