I left and have found tremendous success with another company that values me and cares as much about its people as it does the business.

Strong bias within the company. Discriminating against others. Was told I couldn't be promoted to a job I was "perfect for"because I have a child at home and they were "looking out for him" after they made me cut my maternity leave short to work there, then proceeded to overwork me to the point of a back injury in the workplace. Then they made me return to work while unable to walk because I wasn't "committed to my future" with them. Then they sent me hours away from home for days on end to rehabilitate stores (even though they denied me a promotion because they didn't want to take me from my child) I was told that as a woman I should find the fact that "I'm intense" a problem that I need to fix. I was pressured into a work vehicle with an open container. I had my face forced downward in the middle of the store to make it look as though I was doing things to a higher level while customers and other team members were there and I was told I should expect it because I chose to work for that type of business. I suffered propane burns all over my right hand due to a busted forklift and was told I was being dramatic and prevented from seeking emergency care.

The company is led by Bob Tarrant who is totally out of touch with what is happening in the stores even though his wife Kim, is the head of HR. They leave primary control to a man named Eric Miller. A man who is about as backwards of a leader as they come. He has solicited myself as well as other female employees of the company for sexual favors, if you participate then your career is set, if not he'll make your time as horrible as he can until he can find a reason to fire you or you quit. There's a DM that even got their job from participating with him and many in the company know it from listening to conversations from them. But you can't bring a thing to HR because it's truly only there as a show. HR has heard complaints of gender discrimination, agism, sexual harassment, violations in labor laws, and other illegal working situations. But if you're not in with the crowd, you've just signed your termination letter. They commonly get rid of those filing the complaints.

They frequently hire members of the LGBT+ community and refer to them simply as "a gay" They frequently encourage excessive drinking and solicitation from leaders to be "welcomed" into the protected group. If you decline, then you're pushed out of the company. Their stores are built with recycled, mostly broken parts salvaged from other businesses that have closed down. The amount of injuries are through the roof. Ask the groomer who's fingers were cut off by one of the faulty ladders they give to the stores to use. Their corporate loss prevention is a former Michigan state trooper though..... that killed a teenager when he was drunk driving and ended up losing his job and serving time. He's more concerned with how attractive the women in the company are anyway. This company has lost more people than it has retained I've seen so many new faces. If you aren't playing by their rules, or if you're a woman, it's best to stay away.
