* Decent pay - Better than other energy retailers who were advertising at the same time.
* Easy location - Right next to Southern Cross station. You get off the train and you're at work!
* Nice facilities - Very modern and they've thought of everything anyone would need to feel comfortable here

A downside is there is no free parking nearby. You either have to pay for parking or catch the train (which is the easier and cheaper option anyway)

there were no pros in working at AGL Torrens Island Power Station

I worked as an Electrician contracted by AGL Torrens Island Power Station during the decomissioning of A-Station and was exposed to lead for months due to AGL not having any controls in place to protect me from lead posioning. AGL have still not cleaned up the site properly and are still exposing workers to take home lead. Management are safety issue carpet sweepers and their safety pra tices are a joke, they are more interested in head hunting people who bring up safety issues, rather than fixing the safety issues
