Managers and area managers unsupportive and stick up for each other when their bullying and poor management are questioned. Training is quick and brash, you will be thrown into your job with a "sink or swim" attitude. They expect new staff to resign because of the working conditions yet don't seem to try to change their ways. If you need a Reliable job with set hours, this is great! However, you will be micromanaged by leaders; eg you will be forced to set “actions” every week on how you should be better. You will regularly be understaffed and never have enough time to get the job done. Lower level leaders are usually incredible (eg branch managers and area managers), higher level leaders (eg. State and national) are a joke. They are so out of touch with what branch staff actually do. You’ll be invited to flashy, boozy Christmas parties or training days with free lunches… but the whole time you just wish that money was instead spent on staffing your workplace properly so your mental health, family, marriage, kids etc don’t have to suffer with the awful work life balance and stress. If someone calls in sick or two people want annual leave at the same time,.. expect to work down. NEVER ENOUGH STAFF IN BRANCHES! Job stability. Excellent lower level leadership. Never enough staff.
