Long working hours with no support apart from my business manager. Business manager is so unhappy. They pushed a lot of people out through redundancy in recent and reduce people working sites as they are making the books look better so someone will buy the business. I feel sad to be working here still. Managers sent emails advising poor working conditions to whole company but senior managers given poor responses. Many people working behind the scenes that craTe processes that have no expertise in area. This is not about standing behind a counter doing nothing. The store must always look it’s best. Be organised, and always do your best. Customers are 50/50, some good , some bad, but you will learn a lot about human interactions. Try not to take it personally, if a cust is having a bad day, it’s not always a pleasure being yelled at by someone who needs their cigarettes. If you can get a job elsewhere... do it. There is no commendation just constant complaining. You can be a loyal employee who works hard but you will just get used and abused.
