Company standards are inconsistently applied across teams due to a lack of measures holding team leaders accountable. This has resulted in high levels of burnout and stress among employees, with little more than advice to prioritize sleep being offered as a solution. Personally, I've faced challenges stemming from heavy workloads and prolonged understaffing circumstances. Despite repeatedly seeking assistance, I've been advised to prioritize tasks better. It's increasingly clear to both myself and my colleagues that the issue goes beyond time management; there simply aren't enough hours in the day to manage the workload alone. Nevertheless, we're expected to deliver results regardless of the toll it takes. Team leaders prioritize client requests over acting as subject matter experts, leading to a lack of pushback and transparency regarding the scope of work. Junior staff are left vulnerable to client bullying without protection or support. Additionally, there have been no discussions about my career development or the possibility of a promotion. Although the company schedules "calendar blocks" for no meetings, this policy is frequently ignored.
