E.g. they have a rec room that you’ll never get to use in EB. Emphasised by the union rep putting the fear of god in us before we even took calls. The practical weeks of training (on the floor), gave us better insight of the environment and culture. Some really nice people, management included. I have learned so much and continue to do so and that’s on top of the vast amount of knowledge I went in with. The AA is filled with great people. Great Leaders throughout. If you struggle with anything, they are there to help you improve. Positive atmosphere. Staff are extremely supportive of each other and very willing to give a helping hand when needed. A very ethical culture and they are diverse. It’s not about creed or colour but ability to learn and progress. Plenty of internal progression opportunities in The AA. The work is virtually limitless and the hardest part is never having enough time to do it all. BUT you just do your best and that is all that is asked. I work in Motor Accident Claims and it’s Well balanced. It’s mainly administrative with taking around 10 to 15 calls per day. I would describe it as a bit challenging but then I thrive on a challenge. Every claim is unique. Accommodating, Friendly, striving for better.
