Work with the Corporate Account Manager (CAM) to identify gaps & opportunities, and execute against the plan to close gaps and develop opportunities Work with the CAM’s to build customer intelligence on acquisition opportunities Actively promote the e-commerce offering to customers whom don’t currently use the tool, as well as drive compliance with existing users Execute and manage the customer activity plan for each portfolio account Gather competitor insights and share with Corporate team and key stakeholders Work with the CAM to manage and implement local and global sales campaigns Ownership for the execution and delivery of portfolio activity plans which are deployed through a matrix sales organisation. Portfolio Revenue and Gross Profit growth against targets.   What we are looking for   2 to 3 years’ experience in Sales or B2B account management Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Experience in delivering client-focused solutions, based on customer needs Proven ability to analyse information quickly and to problem solve and think strategically, position and formulate appropriate recommendations. Primary focus is on building effective relationships within account portfolio of high opportunity accounts to gain a clear understanding of current and future needs and drive significant incremental sales. There is also a need to identify and support other opportunities for growth in the territory in conjunction with the wider sales and marketing teams     RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver the Portfolio Sales Plan in conjunction with local and national strategies while exceeding targets within budget. Work with Corporate Account Managers and Account Executive Team Partner, to drive sales initiatives. Maintain CRM data is up to date on a daily basis, Call Plans, Call objectives, Call outcomes and data contact maintenance. Ensure customer segmentation and geography is managed, maintained and covered on a rotation basis. Plan and Call on a minim of 4 companies and 8 contacts/day. Planning must be four weeks ahead. Prepare, plan and assist site roadshows and expos on and off customer sites. Provide monthly reports on targets, KPM, customer activity , market forces and competition Develop an internal and external network of business partners, fostering good team work within a best practice environment. Develop knowledge of RS’s product ranges, technologies, sales practices and procedures and value added services Maybe required to support and cover line manager in times of absence.   REQUIREMENTS: Relevant Technical experience/qualification and/or sales experience within a technical HSL High service level business to business environment Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a remote areas and able work on own initiative Results driven, with focus on profit margin Commercial awareness, particularly around cost of acquisition/profitability and procurement trends E-commerce knowledge/experience Sales and negotiation skills and techniques Account management experience. Assist in the prevention of costly breakdowns by following equipment start up procedures and reporting any faults or damage. Create a professional and efficient image of the company by ensuring that the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times. Contribute to the company's development by ensuring all dealings with outside parties are professional and customer orientated. Accept incoming stock and report any discrepancies in paperwork or damage to stock promptly. Scan Stock in to & out of appropriate Warehouse Locations. Record all stock movements and paperwork correctly and in a comprehensible manner. Operate supplied equipment with due care, in accordance with set safety procedures and ensure that the equipment’s operational procedures are adhered to. Assist in the prevention of costly breakdowns by following equipment start up procedures and reporting any faults or damage. Create a professional and efficient image of the company by ensuring that the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times. Contribute to the company's development by ensuring all dealings with outside parties are professional and customer orientated. OHS commitment: Demonstrated commitment to OHS & W policies & personal initiatives to promoting a safe working environment.
