Deliveroo used to be an amazing company, but it has become the worst place to work at. The decision to fire some of the most talented managers marked the beginning of its downfall. Now, employees are constantly stressed, feeling like nothing more than a number in the company.
While there's nothing inherently wrong with the CEO, it seems like a lot of things are happening without his knowledge. Many managers have started taking advantage of employees, making them work harder and do double the amount of work that isn't even part of their job description.
The salary is abysmally low, and they lie about opportunities for growth within the company. They're also trying to get rid of fully remote employees without providing any support, giving them only one month's notice. It's a disappointing and disheartening environment to be in. I have never seen a management this ruthless before, in firing people.

Management needs a complete overhaul; they should be replaced with individuals who genuinely enjoy their work and prioritize the well-being of their employees. This is by far the most disorganized company I've ever worked for. I feel immense sympathy for the CEO, who appears to be unaware of how poorly management treats its employees.
The amount of stress inflicted upon us and the toll it takes on our mental health is unacceptable. Management must prioritize creating a supportive and healthy work environment for all employees.

Similar to other reviewers I also experienced the toxicity of the senior leadership and unfair treatment. A real culture of nepotism and favouritism exists in a number of departments so your only way to succeed is to make sure you are liked by your manager. Changes are made often and rarely with thorough thought so expect to have to pivot regularly and be told you’re change averse if you identify potential challenges that may come up down the line. A real lack of psychological safety generally.

Evolution de la boîte inquiétante depuis la domination de ubereats. Evolution difficile. Plus important de paraître et de bien de se montrer plutôt que de bien faire son travail. Omniprésence du bullshit. Grosses baisses des valeurs et donc des conditions pour les livreurs, pour les restaurants. Aucune considération pour l'écologie et le monde qui nous entoure. On passe désormais plus de temps à justifier son travail qu'à le faire. Moins de contact humain, de terrain, plus de Salesforce, de mailing automatique. Moins de personnalisation. Evolution donc navrante à l'époque. Sentiment d'être bloqué

Revenez aux basiques. Virez tous les restos qui ne le méritent pas. Re devenez la start up que se voulait guide de restaurants en livraison avec uniquement les pépites de quartier. Faites confiance à vos employés, valorisez les, écoutez les. Plus de droits pour les livreurs. Plus d'efforts pour la planète. Soyez précurseurs. Arrêtez de copier une boîte américaine fantôme néfaste à tout point de vue. Vous voulez mieux que ça. Vous valez mieux qu'une entreprise qui prend jusqu'à 6€ de frais sur une commande et sur le dos du client sans que le livreur ne perçoive quoique ce soit de plus. Sans valeurs importantes, vous ne pouvez pas aller dans la bonne direction.
