The managers and people you work with make the place. The salary could be much better for the work and stress we deal with. They say at the interview that you will be in the back office but they give you a telephony job and its really hard to progress.

You learn a lot but also very toxic environment to be in if you are an outsider and you don’t have family or a friend who referred you. It seemed everyone employed their own family and friends in there and everyone did just enough not to get fired. However if you are a newbie you will be asked to take on everything. Job will keep getting doubled as less as 3 days .

When I first started in this role our main aim was for retention and consolidation of our high net worth clients. You could work with your clients to the best way that suited you and what they preferred. We then aligned to a different department manager who has micro management at her heart. You aren’t empowered or trusted anymore to get on with the role and produce your bet work because it is all stat driven.
