When I have been offered this job it had a complete different job title and job description. I did not received my contract until I worked for the Company for almost 6 weeks. The contract specified a different job title to what I originally been applying for. Working close with a 'director' who praised himself having a degree in HR has got no people skills in my opinion whatsoever. A very narcissistic person who just had eyes for themselves and assorted personnel higher up in the company hierarchy . From HR there was no support at all even after this person had been reported by multiple people at various times. No support had been provided when it came to serious unachievable tasks. The goal posts were constantly moved. Loads of "redundancies" during COVID 19. Half of the people that used to work at Velocity have now moved on to BAE Systems.

Though a public company, a real family atmosphere. There is a strong work ethic, with a great team spirit. The company invests in training and looks to use new technologies to help the work environment. Recently it has won some big contracts and has long term prospects.

None so far, but would be great see all employees have some equity stake.

No training. Managers that “don’t want to hear it” “Get it done” attitude Would not advise anyone to work here. Apart from a couple of people who were lovely the place was a shambles.
