The GL Senior Accountant is responsible for booking, review and completion journal entries, analysis, and accuracy of BS reconciliations, solving other relevant accounting issues in compliance with local legislation, US GAAP standards.YOU WILL:• Preparing and posting complex journal entries for company accounts, ensuring information is accurate and up to date (intercompany, fixed assets, others)• Perform a Month End Closing activities (Deferrals, Accruals, FX revaluation and others)• Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts to general ledger; investigating more complex discrepancies and determining appropriate course of action• Developing spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries in order to keep records organized and standardized• Administration of VAT returns and other reporting to local tax authorities• Cooperate with internal and external partners as auditors, tax advisors, local authorities, and other departments• Documenting, and coordinating implementation of accounting control procedures• You may provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced colleagues• Participating in diverse projects in order to provide an expertise• Cooperate closely with General Ledger Manager/Team Leads on various tasks and projects• Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks• Engage in process improvement initiatives• Have solid understanding of end to end process• Responsible for complex accounting and reporting mattersQualifications• 2+ of accounting experience as a GL accountant• Strong accounting knowledge• Experience in a multinational corporation• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail• Advanced communication skills in English• Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with can-do attitude.• MS Office skills, advanced level in MS Excel• Knowledge of Accounting system Navision or SAP is an advantage or any other ERPAdditional InformationWHY JOIN US?EW is diverse, disruptive, and still evolving; we choose newcomers not only by skill but also whether they can be real colleagues through shared values.
