It's just a very tedious and cumbersome way of sending an email to a pub. I "booked" a table then waited 14 hours for a real person to reply confirming the booking. When you look in Your Activity, your bookings are not listed. When registering in the first place, it asks for your email address twice, then sends a code to that address. When you "book a table", it asks for your email address!
