It's a normal company despite their branding

You can expect a Perfectly Normal Business, despite Amgen's desperate branding attempts to convince you otherwise. There's a pretty generous PTO policy, but you'll have too much work to do to take time off, will be expected to work through any illness that doesn't leave you hospitalized. Expect to make extensive use of the company mental health services, as you'll develop mental illnesses you didn't have prior to working there.

Nothing was stressful when it came to working at Amgen. Challenging, yes! However, never stressful.

My typical day at Amgen was a Monday through Friday from mornings to afternoons. work always went by quick because there's is never a dull moment working on Amgens campus.
