There is literally nothing good that I can say about that hell hole, thank God I am gone.

Where does one start when a company is so rotten and awful it destroys the spirits of its employees and truly leaves the world a worse place for everyone involved? Oh and by the way - customers are being completely scammed and it is WELL KNOWN among employees. But hey, keep "believing" because you know how well wishful thinking works...

Good benefits and decent compensation. If you get on the right team or in with the right people, advancement is possible if you work hard and show results.
|
If you don't get on the right team or in with the right people, you're sunk and will be stuck doing what you're doing there until you move to another company or you're laid off when TD Ameritrade misses earnings by a penny per share. Management doesn't know what they're doing and expect employees to work extended hours (60-80 weeks were not unusual) to make up for their inefficiencies.

They do offer great 401k matchingm, health benefits, yearly top sales rep can earn a year end bonus, and no ceiling on compensation for bonus.

Rapid change. Most of the time it hurts the sales people, even though there is good opportunity to make some good money, it takes a long time to get there.

There is enough oxygen in the building that you wont die and the temperature in the building is fairly constant.

Even though I made good money there the environment is no terrible for the producers and the company lies to your face to get you to come on board. Those that remain suffer from Stockholm syndrome. Investools was about to BKO and was bought by TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. They forgot to get rid of the managers and management style that was running Investools into the ground in the first place
