Rewarding, but not for everyone
|
Working at amazon for several months meant that I saw hundreds of employees come and go. This job pays well and comes with great benefits, but you have to be dedicated to earn them. The days are long, and it's hard to schedule days off. If they returned to the unlimited unpaid time off from the pandemic, I'd rate the whole thing much higher. Around peak season, there's also a mandatory extra hour you have to work, and it can be hard for people not used to 11 hour shifts. The weekly paychecks were always nice, even as a part timer.

Amazon is a horrible place to work in every sense. Tons of favoritism and no advancement opportunities unless you kiss up to management. Management is absolutely horrible and they all have zero experience. Stay away from this place at all costs.

Il lavoro nel customer care di Amazon è sicuramente un lavoro impegnativo ma gratificante.
La formazione impartita è adeguata per affrontare al meglio i compiti che poi verranno assegnati.
Turni dalle 6 alle 24, 2 giorni di riposo settimanali con turnazioni comunicate con discreto anticipo.
Stipendio come da CCNL, Buoni pasto e altri piccoli benefit.
Ottimo lavoro per giovani in quanto si impara a lavorare in maniera strutturata e professionale.

Nothing more than a paycheck

I worked at amazon for more than 6 years. The job itself was ok but it really felt like not more than a paycheck. I started at the building when it opened and the management and culture got progressively worse.

Hard work but easy job

I had very little issues working for Amazon. Great benefits and you get holidays either off with pay or get paid to good to work on a holiday. Management can get pushy but they are doing their job.

Easy work but your face has to fit.
|
Targets i felt were pretty easy.
There is the down points in that even if you hit your targets the next month they will ask you for more even if you are one of the top performers and others cannot even reach the basic minimum.
The enjoyable part is meeting people who you would not socialise with out of the work place but become good friends.

Loads of free food, clothing and benefits are very good.
|
Management have there favourites.

Terrible Place to work

I started off as a regular employee and then promoted to supervisor, both positions were overworked. managers just care about numbers so they can get promoted and move on. They will lie and say anything to get you to stay and get mad when you use PTO or vacation. its a revolving door of employees and your numbers are never good enough no matter how good you are. They chew them up and spit them out and look for more people. I saw this place ruin a lot of good people.
