Chances of promotion are based upon who you know, rather than knowledge or experience, and those who are well-qualified and persistent in their willingness to grow with the company are looked past. Raises are a rarity, and if they do happen, it is unnoticeable. Many people in this job have hidden intentions, making the job environment like walking on this ice. Free breakfast, one hour lunches.
