I have had very minimal poor interactions while employed here. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I would give it 5 stars but my only qualm is the rigidity of the “corporate” environment. Great pay, decent benefits and enjoy the camaraderie between coworkers.

Bankfinancial is a great place to work. Management is very accommodating and provide a humane and safe environment for employees to work. Flexible part-time hours make the bank very helpful to students as they pursue their education. Its products are customer oriented and make its not surprising many customers are very loyal to the institution.

Easily The Worst Place To Work
|
This place might be ok if you already have a lot of banking experience, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. After working here for a few months, I've come to understand why they have such a hard time keeping staff...
Minimal training given, but high performance expectations.
No support, respect, praise, encouragement or appreciation given to employees who work hard and take the job seriously. You could be the one and only driving force keeping the branch running, upper management will still micromanage you and nitpick every little mistake you make.
Limited work/life balance. You're expected to work 6 days a week and travel between 3-4 different branches. Time off can be hard to get if there's not enough staff on hand to cover you.
Promotions are based solely on the number of sales you make, not how well you do your job.
Lots of drama, gossip and favoritism in upper management.

401k is decent after a year of employment, 11 paid holidays a year, free snacks and coffee throughout the day, most of the customers are really nice people.
|
Long hours/weeks, upper management, limited advancement opportunities, poor training.
