They do not. They only care about getting their fees. They say they care, they care that you stay where you are. They don’t compete with pay vs other banks. They don’t want you to grow with the bank. They don’t have a plan for training. If you want to learn you have to ask for the information. If you don’t get all the details when asking, it is your fault that your training doesn’t meet expectations. They are understanding about life emergencies and sickness, but Covid testing is required for sickness. Pay for everyone is severely low and with the expectations put on retail associates, pay should more accurately reflect that. If you want to advance in the company, you’re more likely to find opportunities in the Tallahassee region than anywhere else. The company try’s to show it cares for the associates, but with it being a smaller company, there isn’t much they can/will do. A great place if you are starting out in banking and want to get your foot in the door. Now more of a bank less banker. CCB was a great company to work for. They were a close-nit family based bank. They strived on being more than just a bank but your banker. Now CCB is in competition to be just a bank. They have gone away from being a banker. They are now just a bank and don’t really care about the importance anymore of being a banker.
