SUMMARY The Debit Card Associate I- Maintenance Services, is responsible for processing debit card/ATM card maintenance and ordering business debit cards for both instant issue and mailed cards. The Debit Card Associate I is responsible for managing the ScoreCard Rewards program for debit cards. They will be required to have good communication skills and be able to assist the bank’s frontline and customers in addressing all debit card related inquiries.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Notify Customer Technology Solutions Manager of any customer impact issues

 Effectively answer debit card inquiries from lenders, frontline, and customers in a timely manner

 Facilitates communication with bank’s debit card vendors

 Process Debit Card/ATM Card maintenance

 Ordering business debit cards for instant issue and mailed cards

 Management of ScoreCard Rewards program

 Add customer travel notifications to debit cards

 Expedite debit card orders when necessary

 Create dispute cases and facilitate communication with debit card vendor regarding dispute cases

 Prepare and maintain reports as necessary

 Assist with dispute processing, provisional credits, and customer communications

 Assist with maintaining captured card logs

 Assist with verifying processed applications

 Assist with debit card fraud monitoring and disputes

 Assist with card system and ATM balancing

 Assist branches with ATM issues/corrections

 Assists with processing ATM fee refunds

 Assists with managing debit card BINs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  4-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking, financial services, or a related field required. 10-15+ years’ experience in banking, financial services, or a related preferred. 

Prior credit training and lending experience required.

Prior sales experience required.

Prior team management, team leadership, or supervisory experience required; preferred, in a sales or related setting.
