Position Purpose:This position originates, manages, and oversees the incumbents’ portfolio of commercial loans with overall objective of maintaining and increasing its asset quality; to develop new and existing business relationships.Description of Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:• Takes applications for commercial and/or agriculture loan business. Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:• Four to six years of combined credit underwriting, lending, business development and sales experience.• A college degree generally in finance, accounting and/or banking or equivalent work experience in the banking industry. • Completion of the first level of Advanced Commercial Lending School, or Graduate Banking School, or Certified Community Lender Certification.• The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Provide guidance and support to all end users.Daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation of general ledger and internal accounts to ensure accurate financial records.Generate, compile and analyze financial records for regulatory reporting.Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding financial accounting processes.Provide research and internal project support to the Assistant Controller.Performs reconciliation of assigned accounts, and other financial reports, as assigned.Assists with the preparation of various regulatory reports for the holding company and subsidiaries. All other duties as assigned and any activities that support the key accountabilities.
Requirements

Description
Position Purpose:The Accounting Project Specialist role is responsible for various accounting duties and projects within the Financial Operations department. Demonstrates Civista Bank’s mission to improve the financial lives of our employees and shareholders to make a difference in the communities that we serve.Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities, & ExpectationsCompile data pertaining to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s internal processes. Perform routine business analysis using various databases and reporting tools.Produce ad hoc data and reports.Provides support to the Accounting team.Communicate regularly with internal departments to gather or clarify financial information/documentation.
