Description: We seek a strategic driven and results oriented EMEA Sales Director to lead the growth for the Embedded Systems Division of Adesto Technologies. The EMEA Sales Director is responsible for all aspects of developing the regional “go to market” strategy and implementing the same in order to grow Adesto’s Industrial IoT Embedded Systems business, within the EMEA Region. Description: We seek a strategic driven and results oriented EMEA Sales Director to lead the growth for the Embedded Systems Division of Adesto Technologies. Formed through the recent acquisition of Echelon Corp., the Embedded Systems Division’s IoT solutions are widely used in industrial sectors such as Building Automation, Manufacturing and Smart Cities. The EMEA Sales Director is responsible for all aspects of developing the regional “go to market” strategy and implementing the same in order to grow Adesto’s Industrial IoT Embedded Systems business, within the EMEA Region. This region leader will be called upon as the “relationship manager” to manage existing customers and develop new customer opportunities, make company and product presentations, present sales proposals and develop systems solutions, and to drive closure of complex sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a project “hunter-closer” but also will understand how to develop Channel Partners and Integrators to increase market reach. The ideal candidate skill sets MUST include the following:Previous experience selling Industrial IoT and Control Networking technology solutions within the Building and Industrial Automation marketplace.Excellent business acumen in order to determine the overall “best” strategy in the EMEA Region.Demonstrated success in closing “design in” projects with OEM’s and other Integration partners.Experience in developing, partnering, and driving sales through VAR, Distribution, and Integration Channel. Responsibilities: Sell and promote Embedded System solutions to new and existing customers. Establish new customers and maintain current client relationships within all levels of the account. Identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to grow the region. Resolve customer issues in a timely and accurate manner.Execute and deliver on all sales and revenue goals. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales materials. Prepare a variety of status reports including activity and progress of ongoing EMEA region development. Impact on the business: Achieve targets as assigned in accordance with corporate strategy. Responsible for all sales activities within assigned region. Competencies: Resourceful and strong collaboration demonstrated with internal team members.Possess high energy, drive, and a positive can-do attitude.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Does the right thing. Treats everyone with respect; gets input to make high stakes ethical choices.Innovates, has fun, and takes pride. REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree in relevant field or 10+ years equivalent experience is required.At least 5+ years of direct sales experience within the Industrial IoT Control Networking Technology solutions market. Proven understanding of the Embedded business and sales channels, especially with networked solutions.Experience in developing, organizing and implementing sales plans. Ability and willingness to travel to current and potential customers within assigned territory. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills. Proven self-starter; takes initiative and works proactively; ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to build relationships and find win/win solutions. Proven track record of driving results. Proven negotiating skills. Ability to interface with all levels of management and peers.
