The Privacy Strategic Initiatives team helps design, promote and facilitate adoption of strategic projects and initiatives that involve multiple functions within the Central Privacy Organization and cross-functional teams throughout the company. In this role, you will help identify and synthesize strategic privacy capabilities within product teams and determine how to track and enable privacy initiatives across Meta products. You will drive prioritization of large scale privacy initiatives across all Meta products as well as ensure that customized and tailored solutions are developed when appropriate. You will serve as the bridge across multiple cross-functional privacy teams, helping build and scale privacy programs and processes across the company. This Program Manager will be process-oriented and bring operational excellence to the privacy program initiatives they lead.
This is a highly collaborative role; success will require strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to pivot between high-level strategic planning and operational execution. You should be a team player who is comfortable challenging our existing ways of working and bringing a fresh perspective to our approach. You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives for the Central Privacy Organization alongside key partners and stakeholders. Privacy Program Manager, Privacy Strategic Initiatives ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Central Privacy Organization and cross-functional partner teams across the company to develop a comprehensive view and prioritization of the privacy work that is most importantFoster and cultivate deep partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy and product teamsInfluence teams in a rapidly evolving, critical area for Meta, and drive collaboration on highly cross-functional initiativesIdentify, prioritize and support initiatives that leverage the collective capabilities of multiple teams, and drive coordination, clarity, and a cohesive strategy to map and unblock interdependencies across individual teamsActively identify, track and drive resolution on issues and risks for the projectsBuild, scale, and operationalize processes and programs that enhance efficiency while meeting programmatic requirementsDevelop and implement methods and capabilities to define and measure the progress and success of programs in a standardized and consistent mannerMinimum Qualifications5+ years experience with product marketing, project management program management, strategy, management consulting, communications and/or operationsExperience working directly with senior management including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of a companyPersonable communicator with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around a common goalExperience navigating ambiguityExperience distilling competing stakeholder needs into a set of clear strategic priorities and actionable next stepsProject management, time-management and organizational skillsExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentDemonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational resultsExperience working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functionsExperience operating autonomously across multiple teamsPreferred QualificationsPrivacy awareness or experience operating in a regulated spaceLocationsAbout Meta Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. CIFRE positions (Industrial Agreements for Training through Research) are 3-year fixed term for PhD students in France who will work in collaboration with a public research lab. Facebook AI Research (FAIR) conducts cutting-edge research to deepen our understanding of existing AI methods and advance the state-of-the-art.
For this position, the applicant will engage with the supervisor and other researchers in Facebook AI Research (FAIR) to develop and implement research agenda, publish world-class research works, and make external impact. You will apply high standards to the research and develop an ability to identify highly impactful projects in a complex and unexplored domain. You will be able to gain valuable experience in a top-tier research institute, publish academic papers on a regular basis, and build your reputation across the world. Postdoc research areas may include Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Speech & Audio, Conversational AI, Theory, Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, Graphics, Human & Machine Intelligence, or other similar fields.
