I am specifically talking about Loan Operations and no other dept, branch, or area within this bank, stating as a disclaimer. Be prepared to pull files in the basement all day long since your new fresh meat. Unless you have some leg up or pull, you won't get far. The only reason I learned was because I had believed I had an advantage with my skillset. The stressful part and name of the game is that it's "hands on" and nothing is opening up a manual per say. So you can only learn from each other but if your caught learning abut something your told not to believe it because that person doesn't know. Everyone is kept in the dark.... Because of this you only know what you are taught. Instead of everyone being able to pull weight each individual is assigned one or two duties but never enough to truly know the scope of how or why to help understand better. I am saying this because I worked in banking for 15 years. Management will teach you at their pace and still be equally condescending to everyone. So the bright side is you won't feel excluded by being treated like less than because everyone is too. I'd like to think my input matters since this job involves the banking spectrum. Within a week I couldn't believe how chaotic and unorganized this dept within the bank was compared to larger ones I've worked at as well as one smaller one I was at for several years. Ask anyone who works at this bank and they will tell you about this specific department, don't just trust my review! Good luck! Occasional free lunches, management aware of bad weather and are forgiving for appointments but may hold it against you later, encourages high community involvement, benefits are amazing, small town banking, amazing managers outside this department no knowledge of laws people with disabilities, completely unorganized management structure, sometimes forced overtime but rare, if you miss time it's held against you even if you have a excuse, condesending treatment, angry co workers, petty behavior 0.0 0.0 3.0 5.0 3.0 4.0 5.0 2.0 Jun 1st, 2023 12:12AM Jun 1st, 2023 12:12AM Fidelity Bank

They keep acquiring other companies without actually making sure each branch is up to speed and functioning. Back office and branches are understaffed and are expected to perform the same quality with no support.
