After that's completed they will allow you to take calls and assist clients over the phone. The great part about this job was the Ask Chat and the amount of Inet Resources available to allow the Specialist to complete their task. Overall it was a great job as it seemed. But after March 2024 the dynamic of management and their expectations have greatly changed. I was scored low for something I could not assist with as I had no access to a software to see auto insurance paperwork. Since I only had access to debit cards or basic loan information such as payoff or payment history. In that position they want the CSS to be very efficient and solve client's issue pretty fast. When I felt that I could not assist the client since I did not have access to certain software like the Loan Servicing Department one would assume that providing the clients with a department that could help them would be efficiently guiding clients. But yet I was scored low for not assisting the client where I had no access to. When I had bereavement issues I was emailed that I have dispositioned one call into the wrong category for call tabulation purposes. With the high turnover rate of being underpaid and expected to take quite a bit of calls per hour. They are always looking to hire people as it is not a position where you would want to stay in for a long time. If your smart and independent they will consider you an enemy instead of an asset. I knew more about the company procedures in 2 months than my managers who had been there 2 years. The flexibility and benefits are great. There is a good work-life balance and the pay is decent. However, in the time I have been employed, the company’s mindset has changed. It seems like cooperate is more worried about meeting your quotas and bringing new money in, but the support is not there. There is not much room for growth, maybe a couple years ago, yes, however that has changed. Just last month I was told by my manager that FIB is not interested in promoting/giving raises for all of 2024 because of budget cuts.
