The pay and benefits are abysmal and will barely change in your time at the company even though they constantly brag about having top sales. But no worries, HR provides bagels on Fridays and the occasional holiday lunch so that should cover things right up. Upper management is a straight up boys club, especially if you’re over 60, and sexist. I’ve heard things said there that I would never repeat in the 21st century workforce. The culture is so incredibly toxic and no one in upper management or HR seems to want to do anything about it. Even on sick days and PTO you’re expected to answer all emails and you’re looked down upon if you don’t. They aren’t lenient around the holidays (unless you’re in the “lunch crew”) and walk around to do a physical headcount the days after to keep track of who is in. President loves to list people’s jobs on LinkedIn just to mess with them. He has the front desk girl take note of every time you come and go from the office like you’re in preschool and checks it every day. Preferential treatment is a HUGE thing there and for reasons I’d rather not say but you can probably guess.
