Job Title
Financial Reporting Manager
Directs the establishment and maintenance of the organization’s financial reporting practices and procedures, including supervision of the reporting staff. Manages the SEC reporting process, external audit process and compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting standards. Oversee the accounting consolidating process, the internal management and board reporting process, and prepares financial analysis. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and/or oversee the production of various quarterly and annual reports (i.e. SEC reports, HUD reports, etc.) and assist in preparations and response to questions tied to the annual audit and exam to support the efficient operations of the Company.
- Preparation and oversight of staffs’ entries, reconcilements, internal management, and reports.
- Manage & train direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a variety of clerical/accounting functions in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, wire transfers or related financial areas including other corporate departments that could require special Accounting security
- Process incoming Accounts Payable items daily
- Prepare and post general ledger transactions
- Prepare and analyze Public Funds Daily, completing daily and monthly submission to the State of Nevada Treasury Department
- Assist with wire transfer processing
- Assist with the preparation and review of reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis as assigned to meet GBCI/bank divisions schedule and SOX Key Controls
- Completes accounting functions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assist with identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the department and division

Financial Reporting Manager
Directs the establishment and maintenance of the organization’s financial reporting practices and procedures, including supervision of the reporting staff. Manages the SEC reporting process, external audit process and compliance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting standards. Oversee the accounting consolidating process, the internal management and board reporting process, and prepares financial analysis. This is a Corporate Position which may be located in: Kalispell (preferred), Helena, Missoula, Bozeman, Billings, MT; Boise, Coeur d'Alene, ID; Spokane, WA; Denver, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; Reno, NV; or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation assistance is available.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and/or oversee the production of various quarterly and annual reports (i.e. SEC reports, HUD reports, etc.) and assist in preparations and response to questions tied to the annual audit and exam to support the efficient operations of the Company.
- Preparation and oversight of staffs’ entries, reconcilements, internal management, and reports.
- Manage & train direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate.
- Oversee the compliance of the financial statements with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Includes review of new accounting standards, developing appropriate internal controls and guidance for the Company and Bank Division Accountants.
- Member of various Company and ad hoc committees and manage meetings.
- Direct the development and monthly consolidation of the financial reports to assure accurate and timely financial information is provided to management and the Board of Directors to effectively manage the operations and be accountable to its customers and regulatory agencies.
- Perform financial analysis and projects as requested by CEO, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must be in full compliance with applicable FASB, OTS and SEC pronouncements and regulations, and FDICIA. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
