Great community history. I can't come up with 20 words of pros for the Bank. A potential pro would be getting bought by a bank with better culture who cleans house.

Everything, you name it. Nobody liked working here in any department or location. There was junior high school drama but business casual.

New management team, becoming stronger and more cohesive. Lots of potential for growth with some major projects and adjustments out of the way.

Bank is growing through growing pains, which is nothing out of the ordinary for the bank relative to the industry. Regulatory pressures put a lot more projects on fully loaded plates, so a bit more clean-up has to be completed before those opportunities can really come to fruition.

You are in a very unique area that can be the "hometown bank" and still grow but if you lose sight of what made your clients be loyal to you, then you may as well be Wells Fargo or B of A.

Strong community bank that brought in outside executive managment and lost it's way

The bank has been a strong supportor of the community it serves and hires locally at the junior levels. It has worked hard to improve itself and is now on a soild financial footing.
|
Bank is now controlled by east coast private equity that has hired a new CEO and CFO both of who live several 100 miles from HQ and have no intention of moving. They are positioning themselves for short term results at the expense of future earnings. they offer no vision and are treating employees as if they are not as smart as they are.
