A forced return to office, even on a hybrid basis, for the sole purpose of filling a building does not make sense, and will limit the talent pool for various positions. When RTO comes around, meetings for me will still be done via webcam, but now they will be done in an open space with worse technology than my home office. There is no one size fit all solution to this, yet management is just making blanket assumptions.

Gives off a friendly work environment throughout the company. Met the CEO in person who comes off as a great guy to be in charge of the company. Many tools to help you with different tasks.
|
Management follows quiet firing protocols. Threatening termination but never following through with it hoping the employee will quit from the work conditions. HR is unprofessional in how they talk to and handle employee issues and do not support employees but protect management during HR related issues. HR refuses reasonable accomadations as well to push the quiet firing farther along. Another is that this business prides itself as a community bank but could not care any less for the average community member that banks with them. Their only focus are the rich investors that loan the bank their millions. Another issue is that employees close to management befriend other employees to keep tabs on them outside of work for management which is the most shocking of practices.

HR needs a cleaning and retraining on reasonable accomadations and how not to talk to employers. "We do not believe you" is extremely unprofessional and hurtful to say to someone having legitimate hardships with their health or home. Management should be chosen by most qualified, not who's been there longest.

Great company, got to meet the CEO, down to earth and had a heart to heart with him at a meeting for managers. *The company is small bank, so everyone knows everyone, good and bad. *GREAT PAY *Great Benefits *My team was the best at TMB *Jeff Deuel is the Best CEO

*Treated poorly by direct manager, but the Area manager I felt very comfortable to open up to. He told her all my concerns when I would open up to him only. I didn't know how to get her to like me! She seemed upset that I really didn't need her help to run the branch, I did need her help for operations and Heritages procedures on things. She would make comments like "think about it and use your resources" "HR is like my friend, I talk to them about everything with my managers" "I've been here over 20 years don't waste your time with those type of businesses" She fired me telling me I lied about being busy with a customer, but I got the customer to say yes to a $177K HEQ on the very next morning after he thought about what we spoke about the day before! My Direct manager has some serious authority issues. She would tell my staff to tell on me if I did things against her! She always tried getting me on something. My ulcers came back after 6 months with this lady! *Just wish there was someone to talk to since my direct manager was very hard to get along with!

RETIRE!! It's 2023 and things aren't the way they were 20 years ago when you were a Branch Manager! If you get a strong leader in your branch again let them work and don't take it personal when they don't need your help! Before you fire a 15 yr. Manager-talk to customers and ALL the staff to get their opinions since you are NEVER in my Branch to do your own observations. Maybe even make customer calls to clients I've helped! Trust me, you would actually have employee retention! They can't keep any one under this manager! She needs to look in the mirror and say "What can I have done differently?" *I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS JOB AS LONG AS THEIR MANAGER WASN'T THE ONE I HAD, BUT THE OTHER DISTRICT MANAGERS ARE GREAT AND ALL PARTNERS ARE GREAT, JUST HAD A PROBLEM WITH MINE AND HR!! *HR WAS VERY INAPPROPRIATE-Everything I said to HR while I was being interrogated was a lie, or she would say I've known ____ for 20 plus years and she wouldn't do that! So, you cannot go to HR at all as a Team Member if it is about your manager!
