My experience with Cue has been phenomenal and it's one of the most enjoyable companies I have worked in. The business is fast paced, lot's of fun and no two days are the same - this keeps the role interesting. This is a great company for self motivated people that enjoy being accountable to their personal results and giving 100% energy and focus to customers. I personally can't think of any cons. The people who you collaborate with are fantastic people and are extremely talented. Being a remote first company also has its benefits. Unfortunately, the CEO's lack of experience in driving software and hardware groups, coupled with their excessive involvement in every aspect of a software and hardware release, has led to a state of confusion, misdirection, and a false sense of guidance. Product requirements and builds undergo excessive reviews and frequent changes, causing significant delays that have plagued every single release over the past year. It is highly advisable for the CEO to entrust the product lead and CTO with the responsibility of overseeing the engineering efforts. This shift would bring in stronger leadership and provide clear direction, enabling smoother releases and preventing unnecessary setbacks that have consistently hindered progress. Moreover, critical multimillion-dollar opportunities have slipped through the fingers of our strategic directors and leads due to poor planning and miscommunication, which leadership has failed to address in a timely manner. With the Public Health Emergency (PHE) ending, low market traction, and only one diagnostic product standing apart from the competition, it is clear that Cue Health is currently in survival mode. The company feels like a sinking ship, but there is hope for a turnaround by appointing a more capable captain and fostering trust among the entire crew. It is important for the executive leadership to recognize these challenges and take immediate action to steer the company in the right direction. Save the sinking ship by not only cutting cost but by also instilling trust.
