Leadership failed us
|
Leadership failed us, was a good company work wise, people wise, benefits, etc. the system in place was good and had good supporting departments but the executive leadership and upper management failed the common employees

Terrible Management will ruin the company
|
Wonderful idea for a helpful product for consumers.
They do not have a good onboarding process and may place you on call right as you start when you are not fully prepared or have access to the code. You would get a Pager Duty alert in the middle of the night and would get jump scared by the alert noise it makes.
I had a helpful manager however, upper management is not helpful and more often than not is very dismissive regarding employee concerns.
Constant layoffs and termination of contracts made domain knowledge scarce therefore, you have no one to go to for help when the project is unfinished or the code is incomplete.
The lack of documentation has made the job even more difficult.
Does not have a good workplace culture due to the lack of team building and communication with employees.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the excellent co-workers who are very helpful.

It used to be better
|
The company's product has a lot of potential but the company is really lacking direction from the top. With the right leadership, it could be a lot more than what it is now...

Great staff, poor planning by leadership
|
I’m my one year at cue health I had an amazing experience. For the first time in a long time I was part of a team that communicated and collaborated so well.
Unfortunately the founders put all their hopes into the Covid testing and once funding stopped coming through they had to lay off everyone they hired.

One person's experience at cue
|
Since working for Cue I have had my ups and downs( you get that in any company)business is business things happen. Cue is a good place for me so i keep working here. I value coworkers and leadership alike. Benefits are excellent and snacks are great. Snacks are not mandatory nor are quality Benefits yet leadership gives that to their team. Can't say leadership is all bad. You take from your experience at Cue what you choose to take from it. Layoffs are tough but they are still part of doing business. I will continue to work for Cue Health till my situation changes. Cue is a good place to work and people should use the experience they have gained to advance their careers. I mean darn, leadership even gave severance pay along with continued medical insurance coverage for a brief time. Leadership did that!!

Run! It’s not what it’s advertised to be
|
No direction and strategy here. Run while you can. This place needs a change at the leadership level with people that have experience in running a company

Leadership team has issues but not the rest of the company
|
I can tell everyone tried to make things work. However the reason why you get paid so much as a leader (c-suite, VP, directors, etc.) is that you need to LEAD the company. I don't see that. Many times the leadership team didn't know what is priority, what we can do with the resources we have. Priorities changed EVERY DAY. It's a joke. The rest of the company just got pulled down along with. Not sure what can save the company except changing the CEO and the whole culture. It's a very high stress environment, as in all the small companies. Except it's NOT a small company anymore. It's annoying that people expect you to reply things on your off hours and expect you to learn things outside of work. It's definitely not good for your mental health if that's what you want to get from a job.

Too Many Layoffs
|
Cue has undergone way too many layoffs to feel secure at the company. The company relies heavily on grant funding to stay afloat since its only product available on the market is a COVID-19 test.
