Terrible place to work
|
The work culture at HMH is terrible. Low pay, mediocre benefits, and unclear expectations of work. They recently acquired NWEA and stated that all employees would be rehired. While this is true, many were laid off less than a month later. Our benefits were cut and we've gone multiple years with pay raises. NWEA leadership really left us out in the cold with this acquisition. HMH was looking for a quick revenue boost and doesn't care about their employees or the good work many people at NWEA were doing. Look elsewhere.

Productive and Encouraging Workplace

I absolutely loved my time at HMH. My co-workers and managers were so supportive, everyone worked as a team and we had fun! The company was supportive of Account Executives and made sure we had everything we needed to do our jobs successfully. I hope to go back one day when I’m ready to re-enter the workforce!

The directors barely know what's going on. They layoff employees all the time. The location is terrible and there is no cafe. Guidelines change constantly and there is no organized process to distribute new information.
