Develop and maintain financial models to support inventory obsolescence process and ensure obsolescence risk is appropriately estimated and included in financial plans or disclosed as a risk item</li></ul><ul><li>Inventory valuation / Costing – Partner with Horizon Financial Systems to Develop and Implement Plant inventory overhead absorption process, standard costing methodology, SAP set-up.</li></ul><ul><li>P&L COGS variance analysis and reporting - Plant production cost variance analysis, track and reconcile inventory production costs.</li></ul><ul><li>Assists with Financial Systems implementation and improvements, including further development of our SAP system.</li></ul><ul><li>Examine existing financial planning processes to drive process improvements and efficiencies.</li></ul><ul><li>A key point of contact for the business to understand and communicate financial considerations and ad-hoc queries to Plant, Technical Operations and Finance Leadership.</li></ul><ul><li>Business Partner and Site Strategy Support – Business Partnering with Project Management and Site Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to enable key business decisions including business case preparation and support including technical transfer related activity.</li></ul><ul><li>Compliance - ensure transactions (variances, inventory Standard Costs etc.) are completed in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
