Most of management has been with company 20+ years, causing many of them to become complaisant. Large portion lack drive and motivation to drive business forward. Again, not open to change
Company Culture is that of people happy with accomplishing bare minimum. Especially those with high seniority as they know parent company furloughs based on seniority.

Good job that could be career, great benefits

Typical call center work, dealing with timeshare exchange. Some people are snobbish jerks but thats most people anyway. Not sure now but back in the day there was uniform which is kinda dumb since you work at a call center, no one on the phone cares what you're wearing. Taking the job seriously is what helps you advance.

The travel benefits are the only thing worth working for

Too many cliques, only the friends of the HR director move up in the company. 90% of mgmt has a sense of entitlement and many times if you’re not in the “clique” you’re blamed for things
you did not do. HR at Interval is PRO company NOT pro employee. No value is taken in to consideration for employees with tenure who never miss work and are loyal to the workplace. Marriott recently purchased this company and they need to investigate what goes on there on a daily basis

It’s lacking severely
|
The company refuses to help you. Management are short tempered and hate having to assist you- often being blunt and prickly if you dare to try and contact them. They tell you to come to them in times of need yet you are treated poorly for doing so. They expect results but want nothing to do with you, even though, at they start, they come off as really friendly and approachable. Also, the systems malfunction OFTEN. You end up suffering though because they penalise you for it, and take all your hours away as punishment. Be careful if this is a main source of income for you.

Good benefits and a great company to work for
|
Working for Interval allows me to travel and get a free resort any where I want. Loved that benefit since I love to travel. My boss is a very intelligent person and I have learn a lot from her. We at Interval are like a family. I am sadden that it was bought by Marriot and now they are moving to Orlando which I am not willing to relocate.
