Packing and Picking toys in DTC enjoyed the late shift

They don’t care about employees and turn over employees too easily. They demand too much and don’t provide all of the means needed to accomplish the end goal. Workers beware.

Good intentions, lacking execution
|
The company offers great benefits and really works to invest in its people. However, financial targets were set exceptionally high for stockholders and employees were expected to make magic happen to meet impossible targets. Then layoffs ensued when targets weren’t met. Culturally it created an environment of uncertainty and hindered creativity and reasonable risk taking…the exact things needed for a toy company to stay ahead of the competition.

It was solid job. Good location
|
Not a typical warehouse job but can get busy often with a small crew that tries to keep up, but still short, one to two people. Didn’t keep any of the temporary employees that worked harder than the regulars because they voiced there concerns of needing more people since business has become more busy and management has deaf ears on meeting the constant demand year over year.

Get off usually around 5pm. If busy around 6pm
|
