The custom "work" is mostly done in a factory type setting in North Carolina by low paid Spanish speaking workers. In house work consisted of the occasional mat to cut or design work with customers and assembly, assembly, assembly. Poor and glitchy computer program that requires the user to take into frame fit allowance of 1/4" inch because they don't when cutting length molding and cutting mats . The same computer program changes input sometimes and doesn't allow fields to be accessed other times. Horrible, not user friendly program. Most of the job is jumping thru corporate hoops than actual framing. Quotas to be met for the whim of someone higher up. Policy and procedure were introduced to me by the way of not being written up, but being written up and ordered to sign off after being reprimanded for not following new or newly introduced policy or procedure. $12 an hour. Ageism. I heard so many ageist comments on a daily basis from younger management. Double standards and favoritism.
