The Director of Business Development &amp; Strategy will drive and execute our in-organic growth strategy aligned with the broader corporate objective of expanding Melinta&rsquo;s portfolio. Working in close partnership with Melinta&rsquo;s executive leadership team, this position will lead search, evaluation, due diligence and deal execution activities across all deal types (M&amp;A, co-promote, licensing, etc.) to broaden the portfolio of Melinta.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the identification, evaluation and development of acquisition, license and partnership opportunities. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing strategic and tactical plans to support the successful marketing of our acute care IV antibiotic portfolio. Visit www.melinta.com for more information.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job purpose</strong></p><p>The Key Account Manager (KAM) position is a hospital-based or integrated sites of care-based position focused on launching and selling innovative products in the assigned institutional accounts, including integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and alternate sites of care for infusion. The role includes educating clinicians on the clinical benefits of Melinta products to facilitate and gain improved institutional formulary access while expanding appropriate product utilization, thru protocol adoption, to exceed business and customer objectives with assigned hospitals and IDNs. The KAM also has accountability for pulling through contracts and facilitating account and clinician access opportunities to ensure achievement of Melinta&rsquo;s business goals. KAMs are required to follow the hospitalized patient journey and call Long Term Acute Care hospitals and home infusion companies if determined necessary in their territories. The Director of Business Development &amp; Strategy will drive and execute our in-organic growth strategy aligned with the broader corporate objective of expanding Melinta&rsquo;s portfolio. Working in close partnership with Melinta&rsquo;s executive leadership team, this position will lead search, evaluation, due diligence and deal execution activities across all deal types (M&amp;A, co-promote, licensing, etc.) to broaden the portfolio of Melinta.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the identification, evaluation and development of acquisition, license and partnership opportunities. The Senior Director, Trade Relations role plays an essential function ensuring solid business relationships with trade accounts that translate into a high level of customer service, including streamline customer ordering, product availability and timely product delivery. This role is responsible for the strategy and tactical execution of trade, distribution, and channel strategy for all Melinta products in various lifecycle stages, inline, new product launches and at end of exclusivity.
