Abuse their contractors and remote workers

Hired on as a contract to hire. Iâm many states away from the corporate office. I was promised to be hired FTE after 6 months. I got my offer letter and signed it. As the days got closer someone up in the executive leadership decided no one gets to be WFH anymore. They rescinded my offer and took all benefits, vacation, pto and retirement away. They left us out high and dry. Iâve never been so betrayed in my life. I was ready to be with this company for many years. Now Iâve been looking for new employment since that day. Worse still, they need every employee they can get. Makes no sense to screw people like that.

Was sad to see Dow Jones hire offshore folks and replace us. I think if we had more training, we could have advanced and avoided layoffs. Job was however, amazing and I worked with the best people.

La oficina de Barcelona ha apostado desde su nacimiento por ofrecer estabilidad y conciliación a cambio de salarios MUY bajos. ¿El problema? Que hoy en día cada vez más empresas ofrecen esta misma flexibilidad pero acompañada de oportunidades de desarrollo y salarios competitivos, con lo que nadie con un mínimo de ambición dura más de un año en Dow Jones. A la empresa tampoco parece importarle demasiado.

Management are a very varied bunch. Some are engaged and reactive others jobsworths who like long email chains.
Culture varied greatly between departments as well.
Hardest part was having to work weekends and late hours.
Colleagues were the nicest part of each day.
