you’ll make a difference?</span></b> </p><p>To initiate and monitor pre-clinical and clinical research studies for the purpose of obtaining approvals for new indications or products, as well as to support ongoing evaluations of existing Orthofix products.</p><p>The Clinical Affairs SOP Harmonization Specialist has the dual responsibility to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Clinical team that meet regulations and are harmonized across the operational locations.  The CRA I will also perform site monitoring as program needs and workload where SOPs are needed to meet regulations or provide standardization and harmonization across operating locations. </li><li>Works collaboratively with subject matter experts within the Clinical team and other departments to develop needed SOPs, coordinating the drafting and review process until finalized in the QMS.</li><li>Maintains tracking of Clinical SOPs across all locations</li><li>Maintains communication with the Quality team and Document Control to ensure Clinical SOPs are aligned with company needs and processes.</li></ul><p></p><p><u>Site Management (as assigned):</u></p><ul><li>Screen and recruit clinical research investigators (and laboratories, as applicable).</li><li>Assist in the IRB application process, including review of informed consent / HIPAA forms for conformance to FDA regulations.</li><li>Qualify, train, and monitor investigators and their staff for study participation.</li><li>Prepare and maintain study regulatory binders (for sponsor and sites).</li><li>Assure data integrity through proper monitoring, verification of source records, documentation of protocol deviations, and completion of written reports, per department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Identify study site issues, implement corrective action, and document results.</li><li>Ensure subject safety in all areas of clinical research, following procedures to report SAEs and UADEs to clinical and regulatory management.</li><li>Assist with the handling of clinical study-related questions from doctors, patients, and sales force, as appropriate.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What skills you’ll need?</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in a medical or scientific discipline or equivalent experience.</li><li>Basic understanding of
