They are very smart about lending and train their employees well to help the company and customers succeed. Although, in my role, advancing my career has been very challenging. In the year and a half I have been here I have consistently been a top performer but the timeline of when I am to be promoted continually gets pushed back even though I have been doing everything I can to work towards it. High turnover. Equip not reliable. Recycler, coin mach jam, Dr- up tubes would stop.Comp system crash, printers would turn off Very busy location - Understaffed. I was hired to be a CSR. I was typically the only one working in a very busy drive-through. I was told the branch was one of the busiest branches in the Twin Cities. I was in charge of balancing the vault, getting the cash shipment ready, balancing the coin machine, balancing the cash recycler that would frequently break down. Helping customers and balancing my own drawer daily. There were lines of customers constantly. Businesses frequently dropped off deposits, so, even when there wasn’t a customer there was still work to do. I am a positive person. I see the good side to things. I was waiting for things to turn around. I wanted things to slow, for things to improve.. I stayed in faith believing it would. I worked with overall good people. No, i just got overwhelmed. What did I learn about myself? Yo use my voice more. To be my own advocate. To have healthier boundaries. That people come before a job. Health comes before a job. And life is too short to waste it on a job that doesn’t invest in you! I liked my customers overall. Things happened though- that weren’t appropriate or ethical . I used my voice, and it wasn’t heard. The most enjoyable part of my job was probably signing my balancing sheet knowing it’s time to go and seeing a clean countertop. Hardest part of my job - probably was walking in the building in the morning. See nature out of a window, Some customers, Most coworkers: have conversations, bring yummy food. When dealing with upset customers, they would get frustrated and pass them off to staff beneath them to deal with, subsequently blaming the interaction on the bankers, this was not the case with pervious managers. When dealing with HR, it created more problems and escalate issues.
