Big peloton fan but seat keeps slipping…
|
I love my peloton bike+. I ride it almost every day. The GymKit integration, the rotating screen for floor exercises, and the auto resistance are all very useful in my case. Unfortunately this bike has some major design flaws:
1. The seat post. It may be 6 months or a year but eventually it will start slipping. More likely than not it will start slow but eventually it becomes so bad you can’t ignore it and an undeniable safety issue.
2. Rust. Despite wiping down after each workout sweat will eat through the paint, especially in impossible to reach areas like under the plastic housing on the right side.
For a 2500 dollar bike the seat post issue is the most troublesome. I am disappointed with the quality of the paint/sealing but maybe if I had known a head of time could have avoided this. A quick search online will confirm how widespread both issues are. I hope peloton will address these fundamental design flaws in either this or future iterations of this premium priced bike.

Broken Bike
|
Had the bike for 2 weeks now and it still doesn’t work. Peloton dropped me off a broken piece of equipment and basically dumped all the responsibility on me to fix it instead of taking it back and bringing me a new one. Heading into my third week without being able to use something I spent thousands of dollars on. Their support doesn’t seem to have any clue what they’re doing either. Peloton needs to revise their policies…why should I be responsible for their mistake.

Great bike - terrible heart rate monitors
|
Bike is great. Accessories are complete rubbish. I have 3 brand new heart rate monitors that dont work. The original arm band monitor worked great for 2 months then wont hold a charge or connect. I purchased a second brand new sealed in box arm band on ebay and that arrived and didnt work or hold a charge either. Next I purchased a new chest strap from the website and it was so poorly manufactured that the battery wiggled around and wont make contact correctly with the electrical points and had to be refunded. Really liked the arm band when it worked. Get your manufacturing and support figured out Peleton. This stuff is garbage compared to the bike.

I loved Peloton, until I bought the bike
|
I ordered a bike on March 19th, delivered on March 25, and have yet to have a successful ride experience.
I’ve been a peloton customer since 2020. Have gone to live classes in NYC, and have always dreamed of having a bike of my own. I was so happy after I finally bought one, until I tried to use it. I’ve had lagging and connection issues since day one. I paid for assembly, and then had to have a new tablet sent to me because mine wouldn’t update, so had to disassemble and reassemble on my own. The new tablet they sent me gives me an error message. Another hour with customer support to get nowhere, after the 3+ I spent on support before.
NOW AFTER I DEMAND A TECHNICIAN TO COME TO MY HOME, they can’t come for 10+ days. I’m a 4+ year customer and am contemplating returning the bike for money back and cancelling my membership. Horrendous customer service. If I wasn’t a previous customer, I’d return my entire bike package for my money back and get a different bike that actually works. If not resolved soon, that is the path I’m taking.

Sehr gutes Bike+ doch leider sehr fehlerhaft
|
Ich hatte mir ein Peleton Bike+ gekauft. Es gab schon anfangs Probleme. Die Techniker die das Bike aufbauten beschädigten ein Kabel. Das war aber nicht sichtbar und bescherte mir einen Telefonmarathon und diverse Versuche die nicht dazu führten das Bike einzurichten. Als der Fehler dann nach weiteren Wochen der Warterei von neuen Technikern gefunden und beseitigt wurde , konnte ich das Bike+ endlich nutzen. Ich war begeistert. Es ist das wahrscheinlich beste indoor Bike das es gibt. Das Angebot ist riesig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Die Qualität ist hoch und es macht wirklich Spaß . Aber leider hielt die Freude nur ein paar Wochen. Auf einmal wechselte jeden Tag bei erneuter Nutzung des Bikes die Sprache. Also rief ich jeden Tag den Kundendienst an. ( heute letztmalig ) Und immer wieder wurde der Fehler behoben. Es nervt sehr wenn man jedes Mal bevor man trainiert das Bike neu ausrichten muss. Natürlich könnte ich auch die andere Sprache lassen und einfach trainieren . Aber das sehe ich nicht ein. Bei den Preisen kann man erwarten das ein solches premium Bike dauerhaft funktioniert. Das mir jetzt schon wieder ein neuer Touchscreen geschickt wird und ich jetzt wieder Stress habe statt einfach nur trainieren zu können ist sehr ärgerlich. Ich habe einen stressigen Job und das Bike hatte ich mir gekauft um abzuschalten und zu trainieren .Aber leider ist das Bike nicht sehr zuverlässig.

I love everything about the bike. The Peloton instructors are amazing and there are so many classes to choose from. I particularly like Hannah Corbin. I highly recommend the bike as well as the programs and classes.

Screen does not work
|
Part of the screen does not work after 15 months. We only used it 2-3 times a week, even had a 2 months break in between. Contact support team and they said they could not bypass the warranty and screen cost AUD 925, plus tax. For a bike that cost $2999, I think we deserve better quality screen, not just break right after the 1 year warranty. Seriously very disappointing and concerning quality.
