This role requires an experienced document review lawyer to assist with management responsibilities at our client site. In addition, it is expected that you will work with the existing first level review team to assess the relevance of documents, apply redactions and run searches inside the document review platform. This position reports to the Senior Review Manager in our London office.In this Role you willPerform substantive document review, generally on document review platforms such as Relativity.Review and code documents for responsiveness, confidentiality, issues, and privilege.Assist with redactions (under the laws of England & Wales and French secret professionnel).Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by the existing management team.Be “hands on” with any tasks that may be required for the successful functioning of the review centre.About YouTo qualify for this job you must be a qualified lawyer (any jurisdiction - Commonwealth qualified or Paris bar is preferred) with an existing practicing certificate (this is essential).Reside in Paris, France and be willing to work on this project for the long term (until at least the end of 2019 and likely into 2020).Fluent language abilities in English and French. If your native tongue is not French, an “ALTA” online legal reading test will be administered to ensure your language skills meet Inventus requirements.To be considered, candidates must have previous experience with document review workflows such as coding for privilege and responsiveness. Experience with redactions, quality control processes and you must have experience running and leading Managed review projects in Europe or the UK.Previous experience with electronic document review systems like Relativity is essential.The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience working on document reviews and ideally at least 6 months experience of leading a team and reporting to key stakeholders.Additional RequirementsIn order to be considered for this position, candidates have the full right to work in France and are required to pass a compliance checks in accordance with company policy.Candidates must also be available to work through the expected duration of a project (end of 2019 and likely into 2020).
