The plan will be designed to support the business achieve its strategic market positioning and brand within the local markets. The Marketing Manager will partner with each defined business unit to ensure the plan aligns to their specific needs and delivers value through execution of a range of marketing initiatives and activities.</p><p>As a Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Germany, with a dotted line relationship to the Head of Marketing, EMEA.</p><p>The broad spectrum of this role will include, but will not be limited to:</p><p><b>Marketing Strategy:</b></p><ul><li>Working in partnership with the Head of EMEA Marketing to define and deliver SVB&#39;s Marketing Strategy and Marketing Plans for the regions outside the UK, in alignment of our four key drivers (a) Brand Awareness, (b) Acquisition and Consideration, (c) Client Experience and (d) Employee Enablement and Engagement.<ul><li>Ensure annual strategic marketing goals and plan align to the wider German and Nordics business strategy and global marketing strategy and include an integrated segment and sector strategy underpinned by input from the senior management team</li><li>Implement and execute coordinated and integrated tactical marketing plan utilizing and optimizing the full spectrum of available channels</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Represent Marketing for the EMEA regions outside UK in the overall annual business planning cycle and business plan review for SVB Germany and the Nordics, including coordination and input into the corporate initiatives for the lines of business.</li></ul><p><b>Financial Management:</b></p><ul><li>In partnership with Head of EMEA Marketing, define and manage the annual marketing budget for Germany and the Nordics with relevant business partners</li><li>Negotiate agency services to ensure competitive rates for service and performance levels in collaboration with the UK team</li><li>Continually assess marketing return on investment to ensure solid performance</li><li>Report financial metrics to senior management of SVB Germany and the Nordics</li></ul><p><b>Corporate Communications: Key focus to increase Brand Awareness and drive new client acquisition and foster consideration</b></p><p>Manage, enhance, and monitor the reputation and brand image of SVB in Germany and the Nordics in conjunction with the teams in the UK.</p><p>Responsible for developing and executing internal and external communications, events, sponsorships, multi-channel marketing, PR and social media for the regions outside the UK in collaboration with marketing partners across the organization. Components include:</p><ul><li>Continued development and enhancement of marketing collateral and communications, including the German and Nordic website</li><li>Research industry conferences and symposiums to determine applicability of pitching company executives for panels, keynotes and educational sessions</li><li>Collaborate with internal departments to produce, edit and publish content aligned with broader content strategy</li><li>Support the sales teams in identifying and executing strategically aligned sponsorships and events which provide tangible benefit</li><li>Continuously collaborate with the corporate communications team in the UK to deliver PR and social media activation in market </li></ul><p><b>CX and EX: Key focus to drive internal and external advocacy through outstanding engagement and experience for both clients and employees</b></p><ul><li>Provide strategic in-market insights for the development, roll-out and launch of potential new products and propositions to SVB Germany and the Nordics</li><li>Collaborate and advise in the development of internal training modules for new or existing products</li><li>Collaborate with product teams, as well as UK marketing staff, to develop and manage product promotional materials and campaigns to both internal and external audiences including product positioning and messaging that conveys the value to each target audience in Germany and the Nordics</li><li>Development and execution of client surveys to provide data driven insights and ensure representation of ‘SVB client voice’ in all improvement activity</li></ul><p><b>International Management</b></p><p>Critically, in addition to being a key part of the German and Nordic Management Team, you will act as a liaison point between the German and Nordic market and UK Marketing. This will entail:</p><ul><li>Reporting German and Nordic marketing performance to business partners in the regions and the UK as needed</li><li>Representing the German and Nordic marketing voice with other marketing team leads including corporate communications, product, data analytics and events</li><li>Ensuring that plans for the regions outside the UK are executed in a way in which is consistent with Bank/Group wide standards, brand approach, budgets, collateral design etc.</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><p></p><p><b>The ideal candidate</b></p><p>You possess a high level of energy and initiative and be capable of functioning as a collaborative partner and value-added business contributor.
