Just ok management

Used to be a great company but then it went downhill after Doug left. Most of the senior leaders left and then budgets got tighter and every project was cancelled to save money.

I used to love Splunk but now I only kinda like it (on a good day).
CEO sucks. Leadership sucks. Outside of that, most Splunkers are great as long as they’re not upper management.

I haven't worked there since mid-2020, so don't know how they are doing post-Covid. The transition to all offsite was tough on a lot of people. I think they are still remote-optional and hope they came out OK.

Good product mediocre management

Multiple layers of middle management are all trying to hang on in an environment of increased competition where Splunk is no longer the only player out there. AIOps and DevOps products lag competition. Drive for NNL Is key. WIll they get there? Lots of middle management gives conflicting guidance and makes me think the answer is no
