<p><strong>Regional Marketing Manager/Sr Manager, AMR</strong></p>
<p>The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will be responsible for planning, designing and executing marketing activities within the Americas (AMR) region. The ideal RMM candidate should have strong technical knowledge in the area of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and/or Single Cell Genomics and have demonstrated experience localizing marketing programs for NGS, Single Cell, Immunology and/or Oncology markets. The RMM will interact cross functionally with members from the commercial sales and global marketing teams and will be the central point of contact for territorial market planning, implementation, new product launch and regional market development. Key skill sets include regional marketing, program localization, sales enablement, lead generation/nurture and tactical marketing.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Regionalization and localization of core marketing programs (e.g. Immuno-Oncology, Oncology) in United States, Canada and Latin America</li>
<li>Effectively translate the global strategic plan in specific core markets (e.g. Immuno-Oncology, Oncology) into a regionalized tactical plan that meets or exceeds regional business objectives and deploy programs and tools to support regional sales teams and/or distributors</li>
<li>Select appropriate program tactics for your region and assigned segment, govern all outbound aspects of new product launches, and report success of programs to the regional sales &amp; global marketing teams</li>
<li>Collaborate with Regional Marketing Events Manager and Regional Digital Marketing Manager to define events and digital strategy for lead generation and nurture</li>
<li>Responsible for pipeline goal achievement across all regions</li>
<li>Knowledge of key accounts, KOLs and centers of excellence in assigned area</li>
<li>Share program resources across regions, and identify potential reuse of global programs across regions</li>
<li>Own content reuse and localization process requirements, including execution of the localization process</li>
<li>Alignment of regional marketing program to company messaging themes and local sales in each region</li>
<li>Educate Global Marketing on local regulatory and compliance requirements for assigned territory</li>
<li>Develop sales tools and training materials that support regional sales teams achieve goals</li>
<li>Regional market intelligence to provide insight to global marketing and product marketing</li>
<li>Drive demand &amp; grow the marketing funnel in close collaboration with regional sales teams and distributors</li>
<li>Establish local regional operational processes and systems</li>
<li>Collaborate for all CRM related aspects of sales &amp; marketing integration</li>
<li>Improve the size and quality of marketing leads in salesforce CRM database for assigned territory or segment</li>
<li>Measure and evaluate impacts of owned marketing programs and track assigned spend</li>
<li>Works closely with the US and Global Marcom team to develop program metrics &amp; effective tactics</li>
<li>Responsible for defining channel training requirements linked to program execution</li>
<li>Serve as single point of contact between the regional sales channels and the global marketing team for assigned territory or segment</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Background</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 12 years of experience at minimum; Alternatively, and desired, a Master’s degree with 8 or more years of experience or a Doctorate with more than 5 years of experience</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Extensive knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing markets, products &amp; marketing channels in US, Canada and Latin America</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge in the Immuno-Oncology, Immunology, or Oncology fields of research is preferred</li>
<li>Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in the Life Science industry, preferably in a field marketing environment</li>
<li>Key competencies in marketing required: customer segmentation (i.e., needs assessments, profiles, personas, buying journeys), marketing program development and execution, program evaluation (metric framework)</li>
<li>Knowledgeable of sales pipeline and how to positively impact funnel conversion rates</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to work both independently and with distributed teams to achieve goals</li>
<li>An independent self-starter who operates with a high degree of autonomy, able to pivot quickly; adaptive, can effectively operate/deal with ambiguity</li>

<li>Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Excellent English communication skills (written / oral / presentation). Additional language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or Canadian French is an advantage</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel up to 40%.</li>
<li>Travel to headquarters in Pleasanton is required on a quarterly basis at minimum</li>

<p>You will have the opportunity to work on several exciting green field projects that will add another generation of powerful tools to every molecular biology lab. You will also be responsible for developing, testing, and releasing firmware upgrades for existing products.</p>
