Prior experience of banking / telecom industry will be an added advantage.   We are looking for someone who have BS/MS in Information Security/Information Technology and should have 2-3 years of experience having security monitoring and security incident management skills; these skills are key to meet the performance expectations for this role. Should have Excellent verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences with Professional security certification, such as Certified ethical hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Penetration testing certificate, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).   This position:  - Will identify, categorize, prioritize, and investigate events rapidly utilizing triage and response guidelines for the enterprise using commonly available JSOC log sources that include: - Firewalls and network devices - Infrastructure server and end-user systems - Threat intelligence platforms - Web proxies - Application logs and web-application firewalls - Identity and access management systems - Cloud and hybrid-IT provisioning, access, and infrastructure systems - Antivirus systems - Intrusion detection and prevention systems - Monitor incoming event queues for potential security incidents using the Enterprise Security Management (ESM) tool as per operational procedures. - Perform initial investigation and triage of potential incidents, and escalate or close events as applicable. - Monitor JSOC ticket (or email) queue for potential event reporting from outside entities and individual users. - Maintain JSOC shift logs with relevant activity from the shift. - Document investigation results, ensuring relevant details are passed to tier 2 for final event analysis. - Update or reference JSOC collaboration tool as necessary for changes to JSOC process and procedure as well as ingest JSOC daily intelligence reports and previous shift logs. ·  Conduct security research and intelligence gathering on emerging threats and exploits. · Perform additional auxiliary responsibilities as outlined in the console monitoring procedure. · This Tier 1 Role maps to the following services:         Analysis                              ‘Active list’ monitoring         24/7 availability               ‘JSOC Health Monitoring’         Escalation / Notification   A Bit About Us: The Cyber Security team is part of the Technology Department within the Cyber Security, Governance & Technology Compliance Division. The team is responsible for managing Information Security portfolio at Jazz. The Cyber Security is responsible for end to end security of jazz that includes developing policy, procedures, application security, network security, system security, end point security, logs monitoring, vulnerability assessment, security awareness, incident detection and response. The structure of the team you will join is: ·       A 11-member team (including the department head) with responsibility of Cyber Security IT & Network planning and Governance, Applications Assurance and Security Monitoring & Incident Response ·       You will be part of a 9-members team reporting to a Stream Head Cyber Security.
