The pay is ridiculously low. They have people there for 6 years making less then what they hire a brand new employee with no experience at. You are expected to learn a lot at once in the training, and then when you are thrown in you find others are frustrated to work with you as you don’t know as much as them. Some managers are great, others are not, but if you are looking to change bank branches or go to another department you need to go through your manager, so if you don’t get along you may find it difficult. The pay is not worth the amount of work that you do, as you will be doing much more than tellers at other banks. Branches are often understaffed and it can be close to impossible to get the work done that they expect of you as you will find yourself doing the job of 3 people. There is insurance options and a 401k but you pay into it not the company. The job stability is there but ultimately the downfalls of the job outweigh the pros.
